Early Life.
Pratika Rawal lived in Prem Nagar, Haryana. She attended Modern School on Barakhamba Road before graduating with a degree in psychology from Jesus and Mary College in New Delhi. She achieved an outstanding 92.5% on the CBSE Class 12 board exams. She played basketball for Rajendra Nagar’s Bal Bharati School and took home a gold medal from the 64th School National Games in Delhi in January 2019.
Her father, Pradeep Rawal, is certified by the BCCI and works as a Level-2 umpire for the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA). Pratika rawal began playing cricket when she was ten years old and in the fourth grade. She was trained by coach Shravan Kumar at the Rohtak Road Gymkhana Cricket Academy. She also received coaching from former cricket player Deepti Dhyani and Delhi Women’s Team coach Dishant Yagnik.

Domestic Career.
Pratika rawal played for Delhi from 2021 till the start of 2024. In 2024, she began playing for Railways in the Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy and Senior Women’s T20 Trophy. On October 31, 2021, while playing against Jharkhand in the 2021–22 Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy, she made her List A debut for Delhi. During that season, she scored 247 runs at an average of 49.40 and a strike rate of 78.41 in seven games, including an undefeated 161 runs off 155 balls against Assam.
On April 21, 2022, she played her first Twenty20 match for Delhi against Railways in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy. In eight games during the 2023–24 Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy, she scored 411 runs at an average of 68.50 and a strike rate of 91.94, with two hundreds and a best score of 141. She also played for the East Delhi Riders in the Women’s Premier League in 2024.
She helped Delhi win the Under-23 T20 Trophy final in 2024. With 182 runs in nine games at an average of 26 and a strike rate of 85.94, she was her team’s second-highest scorer. She played her first-class debut for North Zone in the 2023–24 Senior Women’s Inter Zonal Multi-Day Trophy on April 3, 2024, against East Zone.

In December 2024, Pratika was included in the national team for the ODI series against the West Indies. On December 22, 2024, she made her debut against the West Indies, becoming India’s 150th ODI player. In her first game, she hit 40 runs and scored 110 runs with Smriti Mandhana.In the second ODI, she struck her first half-century (76) and claimed two wickets. She added 110 runs to her partnership with Smriti Mandhana. Pratika received her first international wicket when she got rid of West Indies captain Hayley Matthews (106), with Jemimah Rodrigues making the catch.
At the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot on January 15, 2025, Pratika scored her first international century (154) against Ireland. Her first “Player of the Match” and “Player of the Series” honors came from this series.
